『蓮池伝説』-- The Legend of Lotus

Uwahh, it's December! that means it's been a month since I write the last post.

Today, I want to share some of my experience about watching a theater FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LIFETIME! Moreover, the theater tells a Japanese legends with Japanese Language. I'm very interested!

So, the title was [Hasu-ike Densetsu] or The Legend of Lotus.
It was performed by Enjuku Theater at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta

and then, I bought the ticket from my friend and went to watch the theater yesterday with Emilywip

AND IT'S VERY AWESOME!!

Even though the performers were all an Indonesian collage students, their Japanese were very fluent and they could perform very well!

Hasu-ike Densetsu is a story that tells about 7 Lotus that lived in the Misawa family's pond.

Misawa Family is a good family who lives in a mansion with a beautiful lotus pond. The family was happy with their eldest daughter's wedding. However, they become a victim of deception by Aoyama Family who envy the Misawa family and they're very greedy. The 7 beloved lotus of Hasuno-hime from Misawa family later avenge the anger and sadness they feel.

I really loved the role of Shoujirou-sama and Uchida-sama!!
Shoujirou-sama is Hasuno-hime's little brother, and Uchida-sama is Hasuno-hime's fiance. They joined the 7 lotus and avenge Aoyama family together!

What a great story with an awesome performance! If you've never watched one before, you should try! It's really great! I really enjoyed it.

I will be waiting for the next performance!
